Animal Legends

A 2nd Grade Language Arts Block

Donna Simmons

Spiral Bound

Donna has taken beloved fables from Aesop, African legends, Jataka traditions, the Middle East, Mexico and many other sources and woven them into a magical language arts block, just right for 2nd Graders and their lovably contrary ways. I truly believe that these stories, told in succession over the 2-4 week block, will melt the resistance of any student. Not to mention teach them a great deal about language and the ways of the human heart. This is a lesson block for everyone to love!
