Nurturing Potential in the Kindergarten Years

A Guide for Teachers, Carers and Parents

Cornelis Boogerd

The kindergarten years—when children are between about three and six years of age—are some of the most formative in their development. At the heart of early years, Waldorf education is informed by the concept of “life forces,” or one’s “etheric body.”  To help children grow into healthy adults who can fulfill their potential, Waldorf early childhood education endeavors to recognize and nurture the etheric body.

This book  offers accessible ways to understand and visualize the uncommon concept of life forces in children. It also provides practical examples of how to nurture children at different educational stages and to stimulate healthy and active development.
