This is a charming retelling of the classic Grimm’s fairy tale with a tiny change that brings the events into the modern world without taking them out of the forest. In this version, Goldilocks and her family live in a mobile home (caravan) because her parents work for a circus. Otherwise, the themes and events of the story will be familiar to all.
When Goldilocks gets lost in the wood she stumbles upon a pretty house. She looks inside and sees a table with three chairs: a big chair, a medium chair and a little chair . . .
Gerda Muller has given us a very beautiful and lively interpretation of this classic story. I believe that children of all ages will be delighted by it.
